Spa Gift Basket for Mom

I’m a mom of two little girls with a baby on the way! When I think of Valentine’s Day, I see it as an opportunity to take a day of rest and pampering. If my family were to ask me what I’d like for Valentine’s Day, I’d be quick to answer that I’d want a day of rest and relaxation as well as a chance to pamper myself, at home – alone. Sounds a little harsh, right? Not exactly. I spend a lot of time with my kids on a regular basis and my husband and I do get out on date nights regularly. A silent home with just me and my thoughts and a few items to help pamper myself during my day alone is all I need for a successful Valentine’s Day!

This year, pamper mom with a day to be alone so that she can catch up on rest and plan activities during the day that she enjoys. I’ve created a list of gift ideas that would be perfect to help your mom enjoy her day alone!

1. Start out with a bubble bath.

Gift mom with a bottle of lavender bubble bath and a bath pouf. She’ll enjoy relaxing and soaking in the warm tub with the scent of calming lavender.

*Note: I took full advantage of this bubble bath while the kids were still at school! I’m not a fan of wasting water…or bubbles!

2. Facial

After mom gets out of the bath, she’ll want to enjoy a nice facial. Gift her with Bioré Baking Soda Cleansing Scrub and Bioré Baking Soda Pore Cleanser for a facial that deep cleans and exfoliates so that pores are left clean, soft, and smooth! These cleansers are great for combination skin as they penetrate pores, dissolve dirt & oil while gently exfoliating. Mom will enjoy the feel of the baking soda fizz on her face during her relaxing facial.

3. Pedicure

When mom’s feet are nice and clean, she’ll want to give herself a pedicure and show off her freshly painted toes. A nice pedicure set and pretty nail polish is all mom needs to have the best looking feet!

4. Book + Coffee or Tea

Once mom is clean and feeling beautiful, it’s time for her to sit and relax with a good book or magazine, and a cup of coffee or tea.

5. Chocolates

Don’t forget to pamper mom with chocolates! Chocolates are a great way to end her day of pampering.

I’m looking forward to a day out with my hubby for Valentinens Day but it’s different when your baby is only going to be 6 weeks old. You described my pre-baby day wish!

My wife’s love language is definitely spoiling, and this basket looks absolutely perfect. What a great idea for Valentines Day, especially because if I get her flowers one more year in a row, I’m going to discover Valentine’s Day from the couch’s point of view.

Love this! I’m going to share on facebook in hopes my husband sees this. I would love something like this, and at home is the best spa I’ll ever get to!

I could definitely use an at home spa day. I love that I can do it from home and it’s cheaper that way as well. This is a great idea. I love all those items you have!

This sounds like a perfect day to me. I want to try the Biore baking soda products because I use the pore strips and they are great.
