As a new mom, I was given plenty of advice about every topic under the sun that had to do with taking care of my babies. Most of the advice included feeding and soothing tips, how to help baby sleep better at night, how to teach baby to communicate — you name it. I heard it. However, there were a few tips I wish I would have known when my first two girls were born. It wasn’t until recently that I learned how important my baby’s gut health is and what I needed to do as a mom to make sure my baby boy was protected with a healthy gut and immune system.
If you’re like me, you want your baby to be healthy and happy for life. That’s why I’m using Evivo, a probiotic naturally intended for the infant gut. Mixed with breast milk, it’s the first and only product proven to restore baby’s gut microbiome to its original, natural state.
Here are a few statistics to share with you:
- There are at least two children with food allergies in almost every kindergarten classroom (FARE)
- Over one million children in the U.S. have type 1 diabetes (American Diabetes Association)
- The rate of obesity doubles as children grow from toddlers to teens (CDC)
- 9.6 million children under the age of 18 have eczema; of this total, 3.2 million children (33%) have moderate to severe cases (National Eczema Org)
Now, you might be asking yourself, “Why is this?”
When we look at the high rates of eczema, allergies, diabetes and obesity in kids, especially compared to our grandparents’ generation, research confirms a specific type of good gut bacteria called B. infantis has gone missing in many present-day U.S. babies, causing an imbalance in the gut that isn’t always symptomatic or seen from the outside.
The presence of B. infantis, the good bacteria, reduces the potentially harmful bacteria linked to eczema, allergies, diabetes and obesity. It’s disappeared over generations and babies in the U.S. no longer receive B. infantis at birth due to the unintended consequences of modern medical practices like C-sections, antibiotics, and formula feeding. Evivo is the only probiotic that’s clinically proven to restore baby’s gut to the way nature intended.
If good gut bacteria are thriving before a baby is weaned from breast milk, they’re more likely to develop a healthy metabolism and immune system later in life. That’s why the first six months of life are critical.
We choose Evivo to give baby the probiotics he needs to help build a healthy immune system. It’s super simple and easy to use. Just mix 1 sachet of Evivo probiotic powder with 3-5 ml of breast milk in the Evivo mixing bowl provided.
Then dropper-feed the mixture to baby, using the enclosed syringe to draw the mixture from the bowl.
Evivo’s special packaging keeps out light, moisture, heat, and air. Keep it in the refrigerator or freezer until you’re ready to use it. Right now, the pairing that’s 100% effective is Evivo + breast milk. It’s just how it works, backed by clinical research focused on infants consuming breast milk.
Baby boy is a happy little boy. You can tell how happy he is by this sweet little picture below! I’m thankful for Evivo to help with my baby’s gut health.
