Your Cheer is Here

This holiday season is full of fun and surprises. My girls will be out of school at the end of the week and we will have the chance to spend a lot of time together. I am looking forward to sleeping in and several days of no alarm clocks. I’m also looking forward to creating special holiday projects with my girls such as making gingerbread houses and baking cookies.

Baking cookies is one of our favorite things to do during the holiday season. We like to make a variety of cookies using Betty Crocker cookie mix. Sugar cookies are our favorite cookies to make when we are at home since it allows us to get creative and messy with different colored icing. This year, instead of making cookies just for our family, we decided that it would be fun to make cookies for our neighbors this year to show them how much we care about them! When we first arrived in the neighborhood, our neighbors made a special treat for us. This will be our way of giving back.
