I’m a huge fan of Box Tops. When I taught second grade several years ago, I communicated early on to the parents how important Box Tops were. I asked parents to have others save Box Tops (grandparents, relatives, friends, etc.) and I collected Box Tops for my own classroom. Fast forward several years later, I’m no longer a teacher, but I still clip and save Box Tops for the school! I already purchase several products with Box Tops on the packaging. It’s so easy and simple to clip Box Tops! Before we throw out our packaging into the recycling bin, I get my scissors out and clip any Box Tops I can find!
If you aren’t familiar with Box Tops, Box Tops is one of America’s largest school earnings loyalty programs. Over 80,000 k-8 schools participate. Schools can use Box Tops cash to buy whatever they need. Box Tops for Education has contributed over $525 million to participating schools since the launch of the program in 1996. For every Box Top clipped, your child’s school can earn $0.10!
Think about how much money a school could earn with the thousands and thousands of Box Tops that could potentially be clipped throughout the school year on products you already buy! Tell your friends! Tell your relatives! Tell anyone you know to save Box Tops and collect them this year so that your child’s school can earn money! You can find Box Tops on hundreds of products. Simply clip them and send them with your child to the school and your school can earn $0.10/Box Top. With Bonus Box Tops, you can earn an extra $0.40! Just look for the Bonus Box Tops image on participating products.
We use these handy little Box Top sheets that get sent home from school to collect our Box Tops! We saved Box Tops over the summer, so I had my daughter sit down one day and add them to her sheet! Once a Box Tops sheet is full, we turn it in to our school.
Consider clipping Box Tops this year to help out your child’s school and to help make a difference!
Do you clip Box Tops for a participating school?
