If you are a busy mom, you know how difficult it can be to find time for yourself. You have a lot of responsibility as a mom to make sure everyone is taken care of and at the end of the day, you may find that there’s little time for you. This can leave you feeling burned out, exhausted, and craving moments to do things that YOU love to do. If you need some time to yourself, there are several ways to pamper yourself as a mom. Don’t feel guilty for taking time for yourself. It’s important to schedule time for yourself on a regular basis so that you can feel refreshed and energized. Here are 5 ways to pamper yourself as a mom.
1. Buy fresh flowers.
There’s something about a bouquet of fresh flowers that make me feel good as a mom. Often times my husband and my girls will pick up a bouquet of flowers while grocery shopping and bring them home for me because they know how much fresh flowers make me happy. My girls love to pick out the most colorful flowers in the store and usually come home with these bright beauties. Fresh flowers can add a pop of color to your home and may bring feelings of happiness and cheer!
2. Take a warm bath.
Fill up the tub with warm water and enjoy a long soak in the tub with your favorite body wash. If you are having a hard time finding the right time for a moment of solitude, I recommend waiting until the kids go to bed or asking your husband to watch the kids while you sneak away for a little bath time retreat. You can even light candles, place flowers around the tub, and play some calming music while you enjoy your bath!
3. Enjoy a sweet treat.
If you knew you could enjoy your favorite sweet treat without the feelings of guilt that may come along with it, what would it be? Every now and then, allow yourself to grab your favorite sweet treat and take time to eat your special treat alone. My favorite treat is dark chocolate. I usually eat a square or two of dark chocolate when I’m craving something sweet or when I’m feeling a bit stressed!
4. Curl up with a good book and a cup of coffee or tea.
Do you have a book on your wish list that you’ve been wanting to read for a while? Take some time in the day to curl up with a cup of coffee or tea and read a chapter or two during your moment of free time.
5. Give Yourself a Pedicure.
Treat your feet with a home pedicure! Find a quiet place to sit down and pamper your feet. Choose a pretty spring or summer nail color and get your feet ready for flip-flop season!
6. Start a Journal.
Journaling can be therapeutic and is a great way to jot down your thoughts, ideas, dreams, and future goals. Invest in a quality journal and spend some time writing daily.
There are several ways for you to pamper yourself as a mom. These are a few of my favorites! Try to find a little time every day for yourself!

These are great ways to pamper yourself. I love running a bath with candles. So relaxing.
I don’t do number 4 nearly enough as I’d like to – I love to read! This past year I treat myself every 6 weeks or so to a ‘spa’ day (it’s minimal actually a cut and color, sometimes a manicure), but it’s amazing how much it lifts my spirit and self esteem to do that. Well worth the money
Ahh…a relaxing bubble bath sounds so good! The warm water and Softsoap against your skin is so refreshing!
A warm bath and a good book always relieves tension for me. I make time for that whenever I can.
Taking a relaxing shower with a good sower gel is the best! I also love to read in bed after a shower!
I once told my boyfriend I wanted to keep fresh flowers in the house and he thought I was crazy. They make me happy and chipper, and all I wanted was 1 vase for the table. Ends up, it became out of the budget to keep fresh flowers around all the time, haha. I have reverted to potted plants.
Oh my goodness, I want to go take a bath right now. Sometimes a great bath with some great products do wonders for the soul.
I’m at the “showered twice this week, consider that pampered phase” of mothering 2 kids… but this post makes me want to shut the door and slip into a hot bath!
I like this brand. I buy their hand soaps for our bathrooms.
These are great tips for Moms to treat themselves. I like to have a nice long hot bath to relax. I will have to try Softsoap Fresh & Glow Hydrating Shower Cream.

I love SoftSoap. And many times I have soaked in my tube with the SoftSoap, a great book and just a nibble of chocolate. Honest, just a nibble. I get out ot the tup feeling clean and smelling a whole lot better then when I got in.
These are some awesome ideas. I should light some candles and draw a bath more often.
Ah who doesn’t like a warm relaxing bath with chocolate, followed by a pedicure. Sounds nice about now.
This post is right on! And it reminded me that my nail salon today is free manicure if you buy a pedicure day – a perfect reminder to get in some pampering!
I don’t remember the last time I pampered myself. I would love to curl up with a good book and a cup of tea!!
These are great ideas. When I like to enjoy a nice warm bath, I have to make sure the kids are gone.
I am always buying myself fresh flowers for around the house! It definitely puts me in a better mood when I am stressed out. I am long overdue for a nice hot bath though! #client
I love these! Great and doable ideas.:)
We tend to take care and pamper others while neglecting ourselves at times. We need to though. Soft Soap is a good way to do it by taking a bath. I like the 2 Christmas scents out now, especially Peppermint Kiss.
