After having three babies, I can say that I have an idea of what toys babies play with versus what toys babies don’t really care for. In my opinion, it is true that babies don’t need a LOT of toys, but it is a recommended to keep some of the BEST toys out there to have on hand for your baby’s learning and development. I learned that simple toys were favored more by my babies than the toys that had multiple buttons, noises, etc.
Below, I compiled a list of favorites that my kids had when they were babies, or toys that I feel that they would have loved if they were available several years ago. Many on this list I actually purchased and they loved. I recommend keeping a few of these best baby toys around that offer a variety ways to learn for your baby. Keep in mind that these toys also make great holiday or baby shower gifts, too!
