Choose Memories Over Messes

Hug the Mess 7

It seems like just yesterday we brought baby boy home from the hospital. Baby boy is now 10 months old and is our Little Man now. His tiny little hands and feet are much bigger now and his baby stage is flying by way too fast in my opinion. He’s already pulling up on furniture and getting into everything around the house. I have a feeling in a few weeks we will be taking photos of his very first steps around the house.

Little Man is our third child. I have two girls also, ages 8 and 5. Now that we are certain he’s our last baby, I’m trying to embrace this season in my life. I’m allowing room for many messes and memories to be made. Messes can be cleaned up easily, but I can’t take back special moments once Little Man has grown up. I already have a few regrets about how tidy I wanted to keep my home when I was raising my girls and I did miss out a few memory making moments with them when I was a new mom.

Thanks to Huggies and Family Dollar, I’m learning to #HugTheMess and enjoy every moment as I can with my children. I’m learning to put the stress of messes behind me. Instead, I look at messes now as a sign of a successful day. My kids are learning and growing with every mess that’s made. I don’t mind seeing the toys scattered throughout the living room. I’ve even learned to embrace the sticky messes in the kitchen.

Most of all, we’ve kept the messes to a minimum with Huggies Snug & Dry Diapers and Huggies One & Done Refreshing Wipes. I rely on quality diapers and wipes to keep Little Man dry and clean. Did you know that Huggies diapers now come with increased absorbency at the same value? I need a diaper that I can trust to hold the moisture in and to prevent leaks. Less mess, yes!

Also, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve yanked a wipe out of the package only to have about 3 or more wipes come out when I only needed one. I found myself trying to shove the additional wipes back into the package. No one has time for that! Huggies One & Done Refreshing wipes are packaged to ensure only one wipe comes out a time so there’s no waste and no drying out!

I use Huggies wipes for more than just changing diapers. I use these wipes in the kitchen to quickly clean up spills. We use these wipes to wipe our hands when we are out and about and don’t have time to find a bathroom to wash our hands.  Huggies wipes come in handy when we are painting and doing art activities. I use wipes at times when I need to remove my makeup, too!  There are many ways that you can use Huggies wipes.

I encourage you to #HugTheMess with me! If you’d like to join me and embrace the mess, head to your local Family Dollar and pick up Huggies Snug & Dry Diapers as well as Huggies One & Done Refreshing Wipes.
