If you are teaching your child how to identify their letters, this letter matching game below is a great activity to help supplement this skill!
Learning how to identify uppercase and lowercase letters can be confusing for some kids, so this game is a great way to practice identifying these letters.
Simply print and cut out the hearts with uppercase and lowercase letters, then spread out on a table for kids to match together!
Valentine’s Day Alphabet Letter Matching Game
Supplies:
- letter matching game PDF printable
Directions:
Download and print the free alphabet hearts PDF on regular printer paper or cardstock. Make sure to set your ink to the color setting.
Laminate each sheet if desired. I do prefer laminating this set so that it will last longer!
Cut out each set of alphabet hearts. Cut the alphabet hearts in half along the dotted line.
Mix up the hearts on place the heart halves around a table. Have the child find the uppercase letter and it’s correct lowercase letter match.
