Are you tired of carrying all of your family’s belongings when you travel or go places like to sporting events, the swimming pool, camping, etc.?
Consider a collapsible folding wagon – a wagon to carry stuff and help you out BIG!
This year, I finally had enough with my three kids thinking I had 20 arms and hands to carry everything they needed me to carry.
You know how it goes. Everyone brings or needs several items wherever you are going, then they say, “Mom, will you carry or hold this?!” Over time, you realize you are carrying everyone’s items and it can really ruin your OWN fun!
I finally purchased a collapsible wagon to have on hand for events where I know we are going to have a ton of stuff.
For example, our neighborhood pool opened up this month and we go often. My wagon will now hold our two small coolers that we always pack with us, several beach towels, swim gear like goggles and pool toys, reusable water bottles, my Sport-Brella chair umbrellas (these have been a huge life saver because our pool doesn’t offer a ton of shade), sunscreen, and other items.
When we go camping this summer, we plan to use our collapsible wagon to fill it with items to carry to and from our cabin to the pavilion area!
Best Wagon for Sporting Events
We also have movie nights behind our house in our neighborhood. We usually load up several chairs, drinks, snacks, and other items when we go to these movie nights!
Whatever your needs, consider investing in your own collapsible wagon for your family this year.
When choosing your wagon, consider the following tips below.
Choosing Your Collapsible Folding Wagon
Size
How big do you need your wagon to be? Check the length, width, and depth to make sure your wagon will be able to transport the items you’ll need.
I needed a deeper wagon because we have these amazing GCI Outdoor Freestyle Rockers that my husband and I LOVE taking with us wherever we go!
Durability and Weight Limit
Will the wagon be sturdy enough? Is the wagon heavy duty? Do you plan to allow your kid(s) to ride in the wagon? You’ll want to make sure the wagon allows for the weight you’ll need it for.
Wheels
If you are going to be venturing to a more rugged area (vs. smooth), consider the wheels when purchasing your wagon.
How Easy Does it Fold?
Collapsible wagons are meant to fold, but I always recommend checking reviews to make sure the wagon you are buying is easy to fold. Folding is such a great feature when traveling because your wagon will take up less space in your vehicle.
Some wagons featured below show quick videos on how the wagon can fold and how it may store in your vehicle.
Features
What other features does your wagon offer? Do you need side pockets for your wagon to hold things like your phone, keys, sunglasses, sunscreen, water bottles, or other items?
Do you need a collapsible wagon with a canopy to provide shade for your kids?
Color
Do you prefer a certain color for your wagon? Most wagons are usually black, blue, or navy, but you can also find red, maroon, gray, orange, and even wagons with designs.
Price
What is your budget for a wagon? Keep in mind that a cheaper wagon doesn’t always mean a better wagon. You may find a better quality wagon with more features for a higher price. Most wagons range in price from $100-$150.
