After giving birth to my baby boy, I made a promise that I’d be easy on myself after the first year. I wouldn’t worry too much about losing the extra baby weight until after I finished breast feeding and when all of my hormones leveled out. I gained the most weight during my pregnancy with my third child. He was a hungry little guy! I craved hamburgers and pepper jack cheese on a regular basis and made sure to eat whenever I was hungry.
After the first year passed, I was ready to get healthy again and focus on myself. I weighed in at 202 pounds. I started working out daily, but I didn’t necessarily change my eating habits. I found myself frustrated as the weight didn’t budge. After months of running a few miles a day plus intense weight lifting, I felt like giving up. Something wasn’t right. I knew that working out wasn’t going to help me get healthy alone. I needed to change my eating habits.
In September 2017, I decided to change my diet. I stopped working out and my goal was to start focusing more on my eating and what I was consuming on a day to day basis. I added a few vitamins and supplements to my daily routine and started watching the amount of carbs I was consuming. I also gave up sugar. After a few short months, my weight dropped from 202 to 177. I was beginning to feel good about myself again.
Dr. Ohhira’s Probiotics Review
I never paid too much attention to my gut health until I started focusing on my health. Just recently, I started learning about how important gut health is. I added Dr. Ohhira’s Probiotics to my daily routine. After a week of taking the probiotics, I noticed a huge difference in how I felt. I experienced less bloating! This was a big deal to me as I’ve had major bloating issues in the past. I was also more regular and had a (ahem) bowel movement every morning shortly after waking up.
On top of that, I used to be a frequent napper. By around 2-3p.m. every day, I went upstairs to take a nap. I’d nap for about two hours! This became a routine and I got used to feeling ‘tired.’ I guess I thought this was normal – I’m a mom, I’m supposed to be tired, right?!I noticed that after taking Dr. Ohhira’s Probiotics for about a month, my energy levels went up. Around 2-3p.m. each day, I found myself more active, completing more household chores and playing with my kids instead of looking forward to my nap. I found that naps weren’t a necessity any more. This was a huge breakthrough for me and I realized that my “normal” feeling of being tired every day was most likely due to poor gut health.
