In our house, we love to snack on popcorn, especially during movie nights. Add the M&Ms for a sweet and salty mix. If you prefer a different candy topping, get creative and add your child’s favorite candy or candy bar crushed up to place on the top of this recipe.
Popcorn bars put a fun twist on your usual rice krispies treats and they only take a few minutes to prepare!

Popcorn Bars
Ingredients:
- ¼ cup butter
- ¼ cup corn syrup
- 1 10-ounce package mini marshmallows
- 8 cups popped popcorn
- ½ cup mini chocolate chips
- 1/3 cup mini M&Ms
Directions:
Place the butter in a large stock pot and melt over medium low heat.
Add the marshmallows and corn syrup and stir, cooking over low heat until melted.
Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the popcorn.
Add the chocolate chips and stir to combine.
Press the mixture into a 9×13 pan. Top with mini M&Ms and press the candy into the bars.
Allow to cool completely, then cut into bars and serve.
