Apple Painting in a Bag Craft
Supplies:
- Tempera Paint or Washable Craft Paint
- Gallon zip top freezer bag
- Masking tape
- Cardstock
- Scissors
- Large Apple Stencil or Apple Traceable
Directions:
Use a large apple stencil and trace it on a piece of cardstock. Cut out the apple. If you don’t have an apple stencil, simply trace your own as best as you can and cut it out.
Squeeze paint into the plastic bag. For this apple craft, we use red, green, and yellow paint.
Release all the air from the bag and seal.
Choose if you’d like to tape the plastic bag to the table OR to the cardstock. If you are taping the plastic bag to the table, tape the cardstock over the plastic bag.
Instruct children to move the paint around the bag using their fingers to fill the apple area in the cardstock.
Complete this step until the apple is completely painted!

Materials

Instructions
