December is magical but let’s face it—it’s also one of the busiest times of the year. Between gift shopping, meal planning, and holiday parties, it can feel like there’s hardly any time to breathe.
That’s where Christmas cookie coloring pages come to the rescue. These simple, festive printables are more than just a fun activity for kids—they’re a sanity-saver for busy moms.
Here’s why you should print Christmas cookie coloring pages this month and how they can save you time while keeping the kids entertained and engaged.
Why You Should Use Christmas Cookie Coloring Pages
Stress-Free Entertainment:
Coloring pages are easy to set up and require minimal supervision. Hand your kids some crayons or markers, and you’ve got a quiet, mess-free activity to keep them entertained while you wrap gifts or prep dinner.
A Budget-Friendly Option:
Skip the expensive craft kits and print coloring pages right at home. Add some supplies you already have—like glitter, stickers, or buttons—and you’ve got hours of fun without breaking the bank.
Encourage Creativity:
Coloring isn’t just about filling in shapes; it helps kids develop fine motor skills and express their creativity. They can decorate cookies with bright colors or use their imagination to create their dream cookie designs.
Perfect for the Holiday Spirit:
Christmas cookie coloring pages help build excitement for the season. They’re the perfect way to involve kids in holiday traditions—without the sugar rush of actual cookies!
When to Use Christmas Cookie Coloring Pages
During Holiday Prep:
Keep the kids busy while you bake, wrap presents, or clean up for company.
Snow Days or Winter Break:
When the kids are home for winter break, these pages offer a quiet and constructive activity to fill their time.
At Gatherings:
Bring coloring pages to family parties or playdates to keep the little ones occupied and happy.
As a Countdown Activity:
Use them as part of a December countdown or advent calendar—let your child color one page a day leading up to Christmas.
Where to Use Christmas Cookie Coloring Pages
At Home:
Turn your kitchen table into a mini crafting station. Add some glue, glitter, and scissors, and watch the magic unfold.
In the Classroom:
Teachers or room moms can use these pages for holiday art activities or party crafts.
On the Go:
Print and bring a few pages along with crayons for holiday travel, visits to Grandma’s, or even while waiting at a restaurant.
Creative Ways to Use Christmas Cookie Coloring Pages
Make Ornaments:
Print the pages on card stock, color, and cut out the cookies. Punch a hole at the top, add string, and you’ve got instant homemade ornaments for the tree.
Create Gift Tags:
Smaller cookie designs can double as unique, handmade gift tags. Write the recipient’s name on the back for a personal touch.
Holiday Decorations:
Use the finished pages to create garlands, posters, or fridge art. The kids will love seeing their creations displayed around the house.
Interactive Holiday Games:
Use the cookies for pretend baking games. Laminate them for durability and let your kids play “bake shop” or “Christmas café.”
Craft Time with Friends:
Host a holiday craft playdate and use the coloring pages as part of the fun. Set out extra supplies like glitter, pom-poms, and glue for kids to customize their cookies.
How It Saves Time for Moms
Christmas cookie coloring pages are the ultimate multitasking tool.
They keep kids entertained, reduce the mess of more elaborate crafts, and give you the space to tackle your ever-growing holiday to-do list.
Whether it’s wrapping gifts in peace or squeezing in a moment to relax with a cup of cocoa, these pages give you the freedom to focus on what matters most.
This December, make life a little easier. Print out some Christmas cookie coloring pages and let the magic of simple, creative play help you through the season.
Your kids will have a blast, and you’ll get the gift of precious time.

These Milk Jug Pumpkins are fun to make and great to display for Halloween! Create this easy craft with the kids this year.

Last week, I posted about making these adorable and easy Milk Jug Ghosts.
This week, I wanted to tell you about the Milk Jug Pumpkins we made!
When I made the ghosts last week, I purchased flameless tea lights thinking they were white. When I got home and tried them out, my Milk Jug Ghosts were orange. I didn’t like that and thought that the light would look better in pumpkin milk jugs.
We saved more empty water jugs (you can use clean milk jugs, too) as well as empty laundry detergent pod containers and made these adorable Jack-o-Lanterns!

I ended up finding some white flameless LED votive candles after all, so now I have a mix of Milk Jug Ghosts and Milk Jug Pumpkins!
Draw a pumpkin face on the side of the milk jug with a marker. (If you need ideas, go here!)
*Parents only! Cut out a square in the bottom of the back of the milk jug with an X-ACTO knife.
